We want this to feel like a place you actually enjoy coming back to. Keep things simple, respectful, and fun.

Be respectful
Treat others like real people. Disagree if you want, just do it without insults or personal attacks.
Stay on topic
Try to keep discussions relevant to the thread. If you want to talk about something else, start a new post.
No spam or self promotion
Do not post ads, referral links, or promote your own stuff without permission. If you are not sure, ask first.
Keep it safe for everyone
No hate speech, harassment, or anything that makes others uncomfortable. This includes usernames and profile content too.
No piracy talk or illegal content
Do not share or request illegal downloads, links, or anything similar.
Use clear titles
Help others understand your post at a glance. A good title gets better replies.
No low effort posting
Try to add something meaningful. One word replies and spammy comments will be removed.
Respect moderators
Mods are here to keep things running smoothly. If they make a call, respect it. If you have an issue, message them instead of arguing publicly.
Have fun
This is the most important one. Talk about the games you love, discover new ones, and enjoy the community.

Rules may evolve as the community grows, but the goal stays the same. Keep RPGBoards welcoming for everyone.
